Accounts Payable Administrator
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to support a high‑volume AP function within an established organization that is continuously growing. This role is well‑suited for someone who brings strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a positive, team‑oriented attitude. You will play a key role in accurately processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining smooth day‑to‑day AP operations.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Review and process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
- Manage vendor accounts including setup, updates, and reconciliations
- Handle credit card transactions and support credit card reconciliation processes
- Process invoices and payments in both CAD and USD
- Respond professionally to vendor inquiries and build strong working relationships
- Assist with AP-related reporting and support the finance team during audits
- Maintain organized financial records and follow established internal controls
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and contribute to system improvements
- Manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Support additional accounting and administrative duties as required
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, ideally in a high-volume environment
- Strong accuracy in data entry and invoice processing
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
- Previous experience working with Viewpoint Vista is an asset
- Ability to handle foreign currency transactions (USD) is considered an asset
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred
