Our expertise includes aircraft interior, structural, manufacturing, and maintenance solutions for OEMs, MROs, and operators across North America.</p><p>We offer carefully designed programs and benefits, including time-off, insurance, and other plans, to support our teams and meet evolving operational and regulatory requirements.</p><p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Study and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand assembly requirements</li><li>Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and form sheet metal components according to specifications</li><li>Assemble sheet metal parts and components to create sub-assemblies or finished products, adhering to strict quality standards</li><li>Conduct thorough inspections of assembled components to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to aerospace industry standards</li><li>Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances, making adjustments as necessary</li><li>Safely handle and store sheet metal materials, ensuring proper organization and inventory control</li><li>Work closely with other members of the manufacturing team, including engineers and machinists, to achieve seamless integration of sheet metal components into larger assemblies</li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment</li></ul><p>Education and Professional Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required</li><li>Any technical or trades <span >qualifications/certificates,</span> or training would be considered an asset</li><li>Ability to complete a criminal background check</li></ul><p>Skills & Experience:</p><ul><li>2+ years of manufacturing, aerospace, warehousing or construction experience is considered an asset</li><li>Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication machinery</li><li>Ability to interpret and understand drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work</li><li>Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety guidelines</li><li>Must have and maintain the ability to legally work in Canada.</li></ul><p><strong>Location:</strong> Victoria, BC</p><p><strong>Term:</strong> Permanent, Full-time</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> 40 hours per week</p><p><strong>Language</strong><strong>: </strong>English</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Commuter benefits</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul><p><strong>Other benefits only for international candidates</strong></p><ul><li>Lodging</li><li>Rental car</li><li>Flight ticket</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
