Overview


Our client is a well-established public accounting firm in the GTA that is looking to add an experienced Audit Partner to its leadership team.


This role is ideal for an Audit Partner who wants to continue managing client relationships and leading engagements, while benefiting from a flexible structure and strong internal support. Partners from other service lines may be considered, though Audit is the primary focus.


Responsibilities



  • Lead and manage audit engagements across a diverse client base

  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to audit teams

  • Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with professional standards

  • Participate in firm leadership and strategic discussions as appropriate

  • Optional involvement in business development, depending on preference


What the Firm Is Looking For



  • Current Audit Partner or equivalent senior leadership experience in public accounting

  • Background in small to mid-sized public accounting firms preferred

  • Strong technical audit expertise and client relationship skills

  • Interest in a long-term role within a collaborative firm environment


There is no minimum or maximum book size, and the role can be structured based on mutual fit.


Compensation & Structure



  • Compensation is flexible and discussed based on experience and scope of involvement

  • No cap on earnings

  • Flexible approach to time commitment (full-time or reduced schedule options available)
