What You'll Do



  • Support customer claims from start to finish: arrange towing, set up appraisals and explain coverage under the policy terms.

  • Gather, organize and verify required information and documentation from all available sources.

  • Reconcile estimates from preferred vendors to ensure appropriate settlements for damage.

  • Maintain a positive file count and open/close ratio to contribute to team productivity.

  • Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors such as Enterprise and repair shops.

  • Research coverage scenarios and apply knowledge to claim files.

  • Provide clear claims processing requirements to customers and deliver timely updates.

  • Contribute to a positive work environment and participate as a team member.

  • Actively support process improvements.


Qualifications



  • One or more years of claims adjusting experience is preferred; applicants without specific claims experience are also invited to apply.

  • Excellent customer service skills, dedicated to meeting or exceeding client expectations.

  • Superior time‑management skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.

  • Proven ability to negotiate positive outcomes when reasonably possible.

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills; active listening.

  • Strong investigative skills and ability to identify discrepancies or gaps in data.

  • Support for company process improvements.

  • Active pursuit of Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or other relevant continuing education preferred.

  • Provincial claims licensing may be required.
