What you will be doing:
Speak directly with customers to review tribology and lubricant testing lab results
Explain wear patterns, lubrication issues, and mechanical findings in clear terms
Provide recommendations to improve equipment performance and reliability
Support customers in identifying root causes of friction and wear problems
Work with our lab team to ensure testing aligns with customer needs
Assist with report explanations, and data interpretation
Translate mechanical knowledge into actionable insights for clients
Mechanical experience: mechanic, millwright, mechanical technician, heavy-duty tech, or equivalent
Strong understanding of mechanical systems (bearings, gears, pumps, engines, hydraulics, etc.)
Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly
Customer-focused mindset and confidence in speaking with clients
Willingness to learn tribology (friction, wear, lubrication) — training provided
This position requires a person to stand, sit and lift throughout the shift in a laboratory environment. Manual dexterity is required to perform repetitive tasks. PPE is required where applicable.
