<p>We're looking for a customer-focused Battery Van Operator to join our team at Astro Towing.</p><p>About the Job<br><br>We help people get back on the road As a Battery Van Operator, you'll drive a company van to help customers with things like:</p><ul><li>Boosting or replacing batteries</li><li>Filling or changing tires</li><li>Unlocking vehicles</li></ul><p>This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in helping others during stressful situations. You don't need prior experience — we'll train you. You just need to be friendly, safety-focused, and ready to solve problems on the go.</p><p>Shift Schedule</p><ul><li>12-hour shifts, starting at 7 a.m. or 8 a.m.</li><li>7 days on, 7 days off rotation</li></ul><p>What You'll Do</p><ul><li>Provide roadside help in a safe, professional way</li><li>Be polite and respectful with customers and coworkers</li><li>Keep your van clean, fueled, and ready to go</li><li>Use our mobile app to track jobs and payments</li><li>Collect payments from customers when needed</li><li>Follow company and safety rules at all times</li><li>Help around the yard and shop during downtime (snow shoveling, cleaning, basic maintenance, etc.)</li></ul><p>What You Need</p><ul><li>A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's license</li><li>Acceptable criminal record check</li><li>Clear pre-employment and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing (including marijuana)</li><li>Friendly, customer-first attitude</li><li>Basic mechanical skills (we'll teach you more)</li><li>Ability to stay calm under pressure</li><li>Comfortable using phone or web apps</li><li>Neat, clean appearance</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision</li></ul><p>If you have the skills and mindset to provide top-notch roadside assistance while upholding safety and customer service standards, we encourage you to apply.
