As a production cook you will prepare and cook a variety of food items, including baked goods and dishes, ensuring quality, cleanliness, and adherence to recipes and food safety standards, while working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Available to work the early morning shift.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Food Preparation:
- Assist the chef the partie in preparing, cooking and presenting food as request.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, and mixing according to recipes.
- Production of a variety of dishes, including main courses, appetizers, desserts, and baked goods.
- Ensure dishes meet the establishment's standards for taste and quality.
- Prepare and fill pans, molds, or baking sheets.
- Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations during all the time.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries correctly and efficiently.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in your section and overall Kitchen.
Baking:
- Prepare bread, focaccia, pizza, rolls, muffins, pie, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Store them properly ready to be finalized from line cooks during catering operation time.
Kitchen Operations:
- Production of standardized recipes (bulk).
- Storing the food produced properly by following proper Freezing instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations.
- Plate prepared foods based on the senior chef's guidance.
- Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils.
Other Duties:
- Work with kitchen staff & hot table staff to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef or other kitchen staff.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Experience:
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery is preferred.
- Experience in Italian Cuisine is an assignment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in basic cooking techniques (e.g., grilling, frying, sautéing).
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Strong team player with a good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shift, including evening, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Certifications:
- Food safety certification is a plus.
