Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Fintech Toronto (Hybrid / In-Office)
Salary - 350-450K CAD + Equity
We are partnering with a fast-growing fintech organisation entering its next phase of scale and transformation. With strong product-market fit and major investment in innovation, we're now seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead the evolution of our engineering organisation and shape the company's future.
The Opportunity
As CTO, you will own the end-to-end technology strategy and play a critical role in accelerating growth. You'll drive engineering excellence, elevate product delivery, and build a forward-thinking, AI-empowered technical organisation. You'll work closely with the executive team to translate business priorities into scalable technology outcomes.
What You'll Lead
- Engineering, DevOps, Security and Data functions
- A 20-person engineering team, with scope to refine, reshape, and grow the org
- Adoption of AI and emerging technologies across the product and business
- The design of a high-performance engineering culture focused on pace, innovation, and accountability
Who You Are
- An inspirational senior technology leader with experience scaling high-growth organisations
- Comfortable transforming engineering teams and introducing modern ways of working
- A strong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence at the exec level
- Passionate about leveraging AI to deliver both operational efficiencies and product innovation
- Preferably based in Toronto (or open to relocation)
