Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Manager provides clinical leadership and supervision to health professionals working in interdisciplinary teams working in community and intensive programs and services. Our compassionate and experienced staff provide high quality mental health treatment to children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs using a trauma informed approach. The Manager will have a strong commitment to quality, and will plan, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and services, participate in quality improvement projects, and collaborate with community partners to build a responsive system for children and families requiring mental health treatment and supports.</p><p><br /></p><p><span >Education/Training/Experience:</span></p><ul><li>A masters degree in social work or a related field preferred, other combinations of relevant education and experience will be considered.</li><li>5 years clinical supervision experience in mental health. However Clinical supervision can be provided to the right candidate.</li><li>Must be a member of a regulated college and in good standing (one of the six colleges recognized by CRPO).</li><li>Experience working within a live-in treatment program is an asset.</li><li>Proven interpersonal skills in verbal and written communication.</li><li>Experience in leading teams in a unionized setting and implementing human resource policies and practices and leading in a unionized environment.</li><li>Demonstrated success in leading high performing teams and serve as a clinical resource.</li><li>Experience in team management, change management and quality improvement.</li><li>Knowledge and experience in program planning, design, and evaluation.</li><li>French-English proficiency or other languages is an asset.</li><li>Highly proficient with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).</li></ul><p></p><p>Role and Responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Oversees the development and implementation of the service/treatment plans for children/families receiving services within their assigned programs.</li><li>Provides clinical supervision to direct and indirect reports.</li><li>Provides coverage as required for direct service workers.</li><li>Leads program development initiatives to ensure the needs of individuals served are being met.</li><li>Participates in and ensures that the multidisciplinary approach to individualized treatment is occurring.</li><li>Liaises with outside professionals and agencies to facilitate and coordinate services to meet program needs.</li><li>Participates in community, interagency and internal committees.</li></ul><p></p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>A valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle</li><li>Specialized training in a variety of treatment modalities that are consistent and integrated within Vaniers Service Delivery Framework</li><li>2 Step TB test</li><li>Broad Record Check</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Schedule:</p><ul><li>35-hour work week</li><li>Monday- Friday</li></ul><p></p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)</li><li>Extended Health Care</li><li>Dental Plan</li><li>Vision Care</li><li>Disability & Life Insurance</li><li>Employee & Family Assistance Program</li><li>Starting at 4 Weeks Vacation</li><li>Statutory Holidays, including a Float Day</li><li>Free On-Site Parking</li></ul><p></p><p><em>Vanier is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of Canadian society.
