<p>We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in North York, Ontario. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee essential financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all reporting and auditing processes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in financial accounting and consolidation.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p><br>• Oversee the consolidation of financial data across 10-15 entities to ensure accurate reporting.</p><p><br>• Manage the month-end close process, including accruals and reconciliations.</p><p><br>• Prepare comprehensive financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.</p><p><br>• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and address inquiries.</p><p><br>• Ensure adherence to financial policies and compliance requirements.</p><p><br>• Analyze financial data to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.</p><p><br>• Support the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.</p><p><br>• Implement improvements to financial processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.</p><p><br>• Provide guidance and training to team members on financial best practices.</p><p><br>• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.</p><p>Requirements:</p><p><br>• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management and reporting.</p><p><br>• Proven expertise in month-end close processes and accrual accounting.</p><p><br>• Strong background in consolidating financial data across multiple entities.</p><p><br>• Familiarity with external audit processes and regulatory compliance.</p><p><br>• Proficiency in preparing detailed financial statements.</p><p><br>• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><p><br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</p><p><br>• Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools.</p>
