About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Controller who thrives in a dynamic, multi-entity environment. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role blends hands-on accounting leadership with strategic financial insight, supporting a rapidly growing organization while contributing to a strong, people-first culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead accurate and efficient month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare financial statements and consolidated multi-entity reports.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
  • Oversee AP, AR, payroll integration, inventory, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition and expense allocation.
  • Strengthen internal controls, financial procedures, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with ASPE and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and support accounting staff in a collaborative, positive environment.
  • Partner across departments to support operations and strategic goals.

Who You Are

  • CPA designation with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of ASPE and multi-entity accounting.
  • Experience in hospitality, service, or northern operations is an asset.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.
  • Emotionally intelligent, approachable, and an excellent communicator.
  • A people-first leader who enjoys building culture and supporting others.
  • Organized, proactive, and excited to help shape a growing finance function.
