Salary:

The Corporate Partnerships Specialist is a key member of our Provincial Partnerships Team, responsible for generating and growing corporate relationships that support organizational impact and revenue goals. This position requires strong customer service, sales capability, strategic and independent thinking, and an ability to develop long-term partnerships that result in sustainable corporate investment.


This is afull-time role based in Calgary and serves Southern Alberta, reporting to the Provincial Manager, Partnerships.


Roles and Responsibilities



  • Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of corporate accounts by developing strong, trust-based relationships and clearly articulating organizational value.
  • Drive revenue growth through corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and funding collaborations.
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert new prospects by leveraging strategic networking, relationship building, and sales expertise.
  • Conduct regular sales outreach, including phone calls, in-person meetings, networking events, and presentations.
  • Apply strong networking skills to expand industry connections and secure new partnership opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing support to the corporate sales function, including pipeline management and proposal development.
  • Maintain strong working and communication relationships with internal teams and organizational leaders to ensure alignment and exceptional partnership delivery.
  • Strengthen retention by stewarding current and past partners, ensuring timely renewals and enhanced investment.
  • Contribute to planning and executing corporate partnership strategies, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Represent the organization with professionalism and a customer-service mindsetresponding promptly, accurately, and knowledgeably to stakeholder inquiries.
  • Research and qualify leads, applying strategic sales acumen to cultivate prospective partners across industry, government, and community sectors.
  • Support and attend partnership events such as networking receptions, industry breakfasts, and learning sessions.
  • Prepare reports that communicate outcomes, impacts, and stewardship updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity tracking within our CRM and digital filing systems.

  • Proven ability to secure corporate donations, sponsorships, or sales commitments while articulating a compelling value proposition.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills suited to engaging executives, business leaders, and community partners.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, fundraising, or corporate sales with a strong track record of relationship management.
  • Confident, polished public speaker with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-project coordination skills with a focus on achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess opportunities and develop effective solutions.
  • A passion for supporting youth, workforce development, and community impact.
  • Being able to listen and engage in a customer centric environment to then align shared values.


Qualifications



  • Post-secondary education in business, sales, fund development, or related fieldor a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, corporate partnerships, fundraising, or industry-related roles.
  • Previous experience in or with industry sectors (e.g., energy, trades, technology, construction, etc.) is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; experience with lead tracking and sales reporting.
  • Strong prospecting skills with demonstrated experience initiating and cultivating corporate partnerships.
  • Outgoing, ethical, results-driven, and personablecore traits for success in this role.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for local travel.
  • Successful completion of a criminal and voluntary sector background check.
