Industrial / Maintenance Electrician (442A)

Mississauga OR Etobicoke | Food Manufacturing Environment

8 OR 12 hour night shift available


We are seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) to join our Maintenance Team supporting industrial bakery and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


This role is focused on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently to support production uptime.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bakery and packaging machinery

  • Diagnose electrical faults using schematics, meters, and diagnostic tools

  • Support production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability

  • Install, examine, replace, and repair electrical components

  • Assist with electrical programs, PM schedules, and reliability initiatives

  • Work collaboratively with millwrights, refrigeration operators, and other trades

  • Ensure all work complies with ESA, safety regulations, and company SOPs

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Equipment & Systems

  • Industrial bakery and packaging equipment

  • Motors, drives, sensors, and control panels

  • PLC-controlled systems (troubleshooting and support; programming is an asset)

  • Building electrical services related to production equipment

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Valid Industrial Electrician License (442A)

  • 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation

  • Comfortable working in a team-based maintenance environment

  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights), weekends, and holidays

Assets:

  • Refrigeration Operator Class “B” certification

  • Food or beverage manufacturing experience

  • Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge

Work Environment & Schedule

  • 24/7 manufacturing facility

  • Shift based on location, straight 8 or 12 hour nights

  • Weekend and holiday coverage as part of rotation

  • Safety-focused, regulated food production environment
