Job Description

New Value Solutions, an IT consulting firm, is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project oversight, governance, planning, coordination, change management, and successful delivery through all stages, from procurement through post-go-live stabilization.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all phases of ERP implementation: procurement, initiation, design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support.
  • Chair the Project Management Office (PMO) and coordinate governance reporting.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the City, ERP vendor(s), and internal teams.
  • Facilitate vendor demos, contract negotiations, and integration planning.
  • Provide regular updates to the Governance Committee and Leadership Team.
  • Track milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Support communication and adoption strategies to ensure smooth transition.
  • Monitor scope, schedule, and cost to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in ERP implementation project management.
  • Proven track record with municipal or public sector ERP projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance and HR modules (GL, AP, AR, Payroll, Budgeting).
  • Expertise in data migration, integrations, and vendor management.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
