At Qualicare Hamilton, we are committed to delivering home care services that enhance the quality of life for our clients while providing peace of mind to their families.<br><br><strong>Job Summary<br /></strong>The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the clients needs.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br /><ul><li>Assistance with personal care and hygiene</li><li>Meal Preparation</li><li>Light Housekeeping</li><li>Accompany clients on outings</li><li>Shopping and errands</li><li>Medication Assist/ Reminders</li><li>Ambulation and transporting of clients</li><li>Provide companionship to clients</li><li>Ability to follow care-plan</li><li><span >Documentation/Charting</span></li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><br /><ul><li>Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent, required</li><li>Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain</li><li>Current vaccination records, including proof of a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray</li><li>Vulnerable Sector Screen</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from client&#39;s residences within geographical area</li><li>Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with clients</li><li>Reliability and flexibility</li><li>Access to Internet/mobile phone</li><li>Passion for making a difference in your community</li></ul>Seeking meaningful work with flexible hours?
