Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Director, Strategy Delivery will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of strategic initiatives and other key projects within the organization. You will be responsible for governance and implementation of the prioritization methodology, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategy, business objectives and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Delivery: Lead the delivery and monitoring of strategic initiatives through oversight and coordination of workstreams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across different departments and levels of the organization to ensure alignment of priorities and expectations.
• Risk Management: Provide input to Risk Management and Business to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact strategy delivery.
• Resource Management: Provide input on resources, both internal and external, to support program objectives, including budgets, staffing needs, and vendor relationships.
• Communication and Reporting: Facilitate clear and effective communication channels among project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates, status reports, and presentations as required.
• Governance: Adhere to and evolve governance structures, processes, and controls as necessary to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives for strategy delivery, implementing best practices and lessons learned to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Change Management: Assist Risk Management on change management efforts associated with program implementation, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communication plans.
• Gating Management: Manage the New Product/Process/Business gating methodology including status, documentation, financials and SRED reporting, and prioritization recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA) preferred.
• Proven experience in strategy delivery, preferably within the financial services industry or a similarly regulated environment.
• Proven experience in managing multiple workstreams and delivering on operations and technology improvements.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
