We support clients in e-commerce, manufacturing, professional services, wholesale distribution, and consumer products—helping them improve financial visibility, strengthen operational discipline, and make data-driven decisions.</p><p>Position Overview</p><p>: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented</p><p>Financial Analyst Intern</p><p>to join our growing finance team. This role involves managing full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple client entities, preparing accurate monthly financial statements, and supporting CFO advisors with reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>· Catch up and clean client books within tight deadlines including capturing and uploading receipts, and maintaining organized records</p><p>· Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP, AR, and bank/credit card reconciliations</p><p>· Perform account reconciliations, Interco reconciliation, journal entries, and adjusting entries</p><p>· Assist with GST/HST filings, year-end adjustments, and working papers for accountant review</p><p>· Support month-end and year-end closing for multiple clients; ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records across several entities</p><p>· Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and Forecasts</p><p>· Work directly with CFO advisors on budgeting, KPIs, and financial improvement initiatives</p><p>· Support financial modelling initiatives use for grants and other purpose</p><p>· Support valuation and projection work, including company and industry research and development of investor-relations materials and valuation package</p><p>· Assist with managing client meetings, preparing Engagement Letter and meeting agendas, following up on action items, and handling related administrative tasks including supporting tradeshow and other Business Development tasks</p><p>· Learn to use timesheet to track client's billable hours and charges in professional setting</p><p>Qualifications</p><p>· Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience using QuickBooks; candidates without QBO experience must have an accounting background and be fast learners</p><p>· Strong ability to support or build financial models and business plan schedules (asset)</p><p>· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required); experience with Xero or Wave is an asset</p><p>· Solid understanding of Canadian GST/HST/PST compliance</p><p>· Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint</p><p>· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines</p><p>· Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills</p><p>· Bilingual in English and Mandarin/Cantonese is an asset; must be comfortable communicating with clients via WeChat when required</p><p>What We Offer</p><p>· Opportunity to work with diverse, fast-growing Canadian businesses</p><p>· Collaborative and flexible hybrid work environment</p><p>· Bonus incentives for bringing in leads and successfully closing new client engagements</p><p>· Exposure to multi-entity accounting, cross-border transactions, and real-world accounting and financial operations</p><p>· Exposure to full-cycle accounting and related projects, supporting future corporate accounting career paths</p><p>· Exposure to supporting SMEs with tax filings and basic tax planning, valuable for future roles in accounting firms</p><p>· Exposure to CFO-level advisory and corporate finance projects, preparing candidates for consulting and advisory careers</p><p>· Exposure to financial modeling and independent valuation work, beneficial for valuation, FP&A, and corporate finance roles</p><p>· Exposure to investor-relations work, banking communications, and borrowing-base reporting</p><p>· Mentorship from senior consultants and strong professional growth opportunities</p><p>· Direct exposure and networking opportunities with commercial bankers, accounting firms, and business owners</p><p>· Potential for long-term or expanded engagement based on performance</p><p>· Support for QBO bookkeeping training and certifications</p><p>· Holiday dinner, gifts, and the potential for recommendation letters based on performance</p><p>MyDreamFinance Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
