Join our dynamic team of industrial equipment and services professionals Our client is a leading provider of a diverse range of products and solutions for the manufacturing, mining, and construction industries across Canada.
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, responsible for the safe and efficient handling and transportation of materials.
Your primary duties will include:
- Operating reach trucks to load, unload, and move materials within our facilities.
- Performing pre-shift inspections and maintaining the operational readiness of reach trucks.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborating with the wider team to support the smooth flow of materials and logistics.
This role requires:
- Previous experience operating Counterbalance Forklift (High Lift 16' racking).
- Ability to read and interpret load charts and other technical documentation.
- A valid forklift operator's license or certification.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs. individually.
This is a contract position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $24 - $27 per hour. (Commensurate with experience).
