Based out of our Richmond Hill office, you will oversee the entire franchise sales process from lead generation to successful onboarding across one or more MTY Group brands.</p><p>Your primary mission is to identify and qualify prospective franchisees, guide them through the decision-making process, and ensure a seamless transition into the MTY Group network. This role requires a proactive, relationship-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>3 weeks of vacation</li><li>5 days of sick leave</li><li>$2000 reimbursement for professional certifications and continuing education requirements</li><li>Flexible working hours</li><li>Half-day Fridays year-round</li><li>Company health and dental plans, with an additional $300 personal wellness expense account</li><li>Employee assistance program with access to mental health, legal, and financial counseling services</li><li>Employee profit-sharing plan with employer contribution</li><li>Monthly company-wide recognition awards</li><li>Company social events, including webinars, town halls, and team activities</li><li>Casual dress code</li><li>Free parking at the office</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Represent MTY Group with professionalism while working in a hybrid model from our Richmond Hill office.</li><li>Manage and update lead flow in the SAP CRM system, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective franchisees and existing partners.</li><li>Track and report candidate progress from initial inquiry to qualification and conversion.</li><li>Guide qualified candidates through meetings, seminars, and brand presentations.</li><li>Collaborate with the real estate team or external consultants to secure approved sites for franchise locations.</li><li>Attend franchise and industry tradeshows nationwide (including weekends), presenting MTY Group brands and engaging with potential franchisees.</li><li>Identify qualified candidates for both corporate and franchise-owned stores as needed.</li><li>Stay informed on Canadian franchise disclosure laws and compliance requirements.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MTY Group brands, financial data, and market trends.</li><li>Prepare and update performance reports (target vs. actual) and provide timely updates to leadership.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or equivalent experience in business sales.</li><li>Proven success in franchise sales, ideally within the food service sector and established franchise systems.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with exceptional communication abilities (verbal and written).</li><li>Skilled in project management and highly detail oriented.</li><li>Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate business opportunities.</li><li>Willingness to travel across Canada for multi-day trips and attend weekend events.</li><li>Flexible availability for occasional evening and weekend meetings with candidates.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you share our values, <strong>Excellence, Dedication, and Innovation</strong> and are passionate about driving growth through franchising, we invite you to join our dynamic team.</p>
