As a WordPress Full Stack Web Developer and AI Tools Specialist at Measure Marketing, you will be responsible for building high-performance, fully customized WordPress websites from the ground up. You must have hands-on experience in WordPress theme and plugin development and customization, as well as the ability to create themes and plugins from scratch. A deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development is essential.
Your role will also involve integrating and updating AI-based tools and features within websites to enhance functionality, user experience, and digital marketing performance. The ideal candidate is someone who can manage full web development cycles, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins, including building them from scratch.
- Handle complete front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) and back-end (PHP, MySQL) development.
- Implement and update AI-powered tools and features into WordPress websites.
- Work with APIs, AJAX, JSON, and XML for advanced integrations.
- Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in WordPress development (theme/plugin customization and creation from scratch).
- Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and XML.
- Solid understanding of AI-based tools and technologies for web integration.
- Experience with responsive and cross-browser web development.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress website development.
- Proficiency in programming languages and technologies, including PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON.
- Solid understanding of customer journey and conversion funnel for e-commerce websites.
- Experience in building secure, responsive websites and conducting cross-browser testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A degree in B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, or MCA from a recognized University is preferred.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS (desired)
- Proven experience in developing AI-powered tools and applications.
- Familiarity with mobile/tablet web app development (Android/iOS) and AI integrations for mobile platforms.
- Previous exposure to other e-commerce platforms such as Joomla, Drupal, or Magento.
- Effective project coordination and task management abilities.
- Knowledge of payment gateway integration, including PayPal and other popular gateways.
- Experience with hosting, email environments, and IT support.
