Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload pallets onto various types of trucks, maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency throughout the process.
- Receive goods from vendors, verify counts and inspect for damage, and stock inventory in designated locations.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure order accuracy and timely processing, demonstrating effective interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Drive company straight trucks or vans for local drop-offs and pickups, requiring a valid G or GZ License with a clean driving abstract and a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Perform dock-to-dock deliveries with a morning shift schedule and flexible start times, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and practices, including security assessments for Controlled Goods Registered facilities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Valid G or DZ License with a clean driving abstract and a minimum of 2 years of experience driving straight trucks or vans.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with proficiency in English.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for continuous periods of time.
- Willingness to undergo security assessments, including police records checks, for Controlled Goods Registered facilities.
