Job Summary We are seeking a hardworking and safety-minded Groundman Laborer to support our field crews. You will be the "boots on the ground," assisting with tree removal, brush clearing, and vegetation management. This is an entry-level to mid-level role perfect for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and is looking for a career with a real stake in the company’s success.

Key Responsibilities *

Ground Support: Assist tree climbers and equipment operators by hauling brush, feeding wood chippers, and staging tools.

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate chainsaws, blowers, weed eaters, and wood chippers.
  • Vegetation Control: Perform manual clearing, pruning, and assisting with targeted herbicide applications as part of our integrated management plans.
  • Site Safety: Maintain a clean and safe job site; use hand signals to guide equipment and manage traffic control when working near roadways.
  • Maintenance: Perform basic daily maintenance on gear and equipment to ensure everything is mission-ready.
  • Travel: You will travel to customer sites within the province or outside of the province as well

Requirements * Experience: Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, or outdoor manual labor is preferred but not required (we will train the right person).

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
  • Reliability: A valid driver’s license with air-break endorsement and dependable transportation to job sites or the shop.
  • Attitude: A "team-first" mentality and a commitment to high safety standards.
