We are currently seeking a qualified Hardware Test Engineer to join our team.


Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Job Type: Full-time


Responsibilities


  • Analyze the hardware requirements and draft test cases and procedures.
  • Perform hardware system level testing and verify equipment level testing for safety critical hardware.
  • Test case development and execution - this includes:
  • The development of test cases and procedures based on systems requirements.
  • Peer reviewing tests for correctness and completeness.
  • Debugging test cases and potential issues when tests fail.
  • Ensuring test cases and the associated test processes meet all required objectives.
  • Assist in the development and updates to test documents, Software Verification Plan, Software Test cases and Procedures document, etc.


Basic Qualifications


  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic system level testing.
  • Experience with development of hardware test cases, test procedures and execution of test procedures is required.
  • Experienced with developing and executing test cases in Python
  • Strong technical skills with emphasis in the areas of system level testing, verification and validation
  • Ability to work across hardware and software
