The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join our busy Endoscopy Unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The Endoscopy Unit provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and acute upper and lower endoscopic procedures for both in-patients and out-patients. We work closely with the specialties of Gastroenterology, Colorectal Surgery, and Upper GI Surgery to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Heath and Care Worker visa. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is unable to provide candidates or employees with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

  • 25.9 hours per week
  • Queen Elizabeth University Hospital

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

Key Responsibilities
As part of our skilled and dedicated multidisciplinary team, the post holder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care, supporting patients throughout their endoscopic journey. You will also play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards through participation in audit, risk management, and evidence-based practice.

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
Experience within Gastroenterology, Surgery and/or Endoscopy is desirable for this role.
