Permanent Position: Heavy Duty Equipment Operator Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Evening No of vacancies: 02 Work Location: 12011 Mitchell Rd, Richmond, BC V6V 1M7, Canada (WORK MAY VARY ON DIFFERENT CONSTRUCTION SITES.) Wage Rate: $37.00 per hour, (37.50 hours per week). Overtime will be paid after 40 hours Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Education: High School Experience: 1- 2 years of relevant experience. Languages: Basic English is required. Job Duties: Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, loaders and graders to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction and related activities. Operate excavator bulldozers or other heavy equipment to fulfill the project requirement. Operate heavy equipment with pile driver head to drive piling into earth to provide support for buildings, bridges or other structures. Operate heavy equipment to move, load and unload cargo. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment. Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous learning for different projects. Work Environment/Conditions: Outside, Inside, Heat, Sun, Rain, Cold. Depending on the work requirements, the candidate will be expected to work in up listed working environment. Working setting: The candidate should be available to work outdoors full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
