Rate of Pay: $17.60-$17.80/ hour
Job SummaryCanlan is currently looking for a customer service focused Host to join our team. The Host is the forefront of the restaurant, and one of the busiest areas, so if you are looking to work in a dynamic environment - we look forward to hearing from you!
Responsibilities- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile & eye contact
- Make/coordinate reservations for guests
- Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide excellent service
- Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas
- Maintain a waitlist and provide accurate wait times
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Other administrative duties relating to the restaurant
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, although not required
- Enthusiastic and welcoming personality; a natural leader
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanour
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Open availability, including weekends
