Salary: $90,000 - $110,000

Role Summary

The HR Manager delivers day-to-day HR operations for All Railings, ensuring consistent processes across the employee lifecycle. This role supports leaders with employee relations, recruitment, compliance, safety documentation, and HR systems, while escalating complex or high-risk matters to the HR Department Leader.



Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Administer full employee lifecycle: recruitment coordination, onboarding, changes, offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation, files, and records.
  • Provide timely support to employees and frontline managers.

Employee Relations

  • Support investigations, discipline, performance conversations, and conflict resolution.
  • Document cases accurately and escalate sensitive issues to the HR Department Leader.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Post jobs, source applicants, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and prepare offers.
  • Coordinate onboarding and ensure compliance with hiring processes.

Compliance & Safety Support

  • Apply ESA, OHSA, and WSIB requirements correctly.
  • Assist with incident documentation, training tracking, and WSIB/WCB paperwork.
  • Support safety initiatives in partnership with Operations.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain HRIS and ATS data accuracy.
  • Produce routine HR reports (headcount, turnover, compliance).
  • Support system training and adoption.

Communication & Judgment

  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Build credibility with operational leaders and employees.
  • Know when to act independently and when to escalate.



Qualifications

  • 58 years HR experience, ideally in construction/manufacturing.
  • Union experience considered a strong asset.
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of employment standards and basic safety compliance.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • CHRP (or working toward) preferred.
