If you're strategic, results-driven, and excited by innovation, this is your chance to grow with a leader in the consumer goods manufacturing space.</p><p><br></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>This role is for someone to process payroll for all employees and provide HR administrative support as needed</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees</li><li>Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy in payroll systems</li><li>Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies</li><li>Administer statutory deductions (taxes, pensions, benefits, etc.)</li><li>Generate payroll reports for Finance & HR departments</li><li>Assist with job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.</li><li>Support new hires through the onboarding process, including orientation and paperwork completion.</li><li>Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, employment history, and benefits. Ensure records are accurate, secure, and compliant with legal regulations.</li><li>Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.</li><li>Provide administrative support to the HR department by updating and maintaining employee information across a variety of internal trackers and HR systems.</li><li>Ensure employee files are complete and organized, including preparing and maintaining hard copy files with all required documentation.</li><li>Create and manage electronic employee files, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and confidentiality of all records.</li><li>Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.</li><li>Support training initiatives by scheduling sessions, preparing materials, and tracking attendance.</li><li>Help enforce HR policies and procedures, and assist with employee questions about policies.</li><li>Assist with resolving employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.</li><li>Support efforts to foster a positive work environment and maintain employee satisfaction.</li><li>Support payroll processes by verifying timesheets & invoices for Temp workers, Scheduling Temp workforce and gathering payroll data.</li><li>Plan and coordinate HR events, such as team-building activities and wellness initiatives. Lead the Social Committee initiatives by drafting an engagement Calendar on an annual basis.</li><li>All other duties as assigned by Human Resources Manager.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>1-5 years of coordinator experience or in a similar role</li><li>Ability to work independently on all gamut of HR with limited supervision</li><li>Working knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations including Employment Standards Act and Ontario Human Rights code.</li><li>Change resiliency and a high degree of emotional intelligence knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations, including Employment Standards Act and the Ontario Human Rights code</li><li>Strong business acumen with proven ability to impact at all levels of the organization</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively influence and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and handle confidential/sensitive information</li><li>Experience with handling employee-relations matters, including accommodation, performance management, investigations and working with external counsel</li><li>Understanding of all core aspects of Human Resource</li><li>Experience with an HRIS system; will be an asset</li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and process work with a high degree of accuracy.</li><li>Highly organized and service oriented.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Pay range and compensation package</b></p><p><br></p><p>The pay range for this position is 60,000 to 65,000 CAD</p>Create Your Resume First
