Job Description
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaners to join the team for our client located in the southeast of Calgary, AB. If you're detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to cleanliness and safety, we want to hear from youPlease note: This location is not transit accessible – a reliable vehicle is required.
This is a part-time position, scheduled 3 days per week for a minimum term of 3 to 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of cleaning duties both indoors (offices, bathrooms, lunchrooms, windows) and outdoors (litter pickup around the premises).
- Handle heavy-duty industrial cleaning tasks, such as compost bays and shop areas.
- Operate power washers and other industrial cleaning equipment.
- Apply proper cleaning methods and use chemicals safely and effectively.
- Use appropriate PPE to work in environments with strong odors, dust, and loud noises.
- Tackle cleaning duties outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, bending, standing, walking, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with loud, dusty, and odorous environments.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Reliable vehicle to commute to a non-transit-accessible location.
- Steel-toed boots/shoes required.
