About the Job:<br><br>Join our dedicated team in nurturing the growth and development of the Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler program. We are passionate about creating a supportive and engaging environment for young learners, and we're looking for a skilled Early Childhood Educator to make a positive impact.<br><br>Who You Are:<br><br>We're seeking a motivated and qualified candidate who holds an ECEIT license from British Columbia. If you have experience working with early-age children, a valid First Aid certificate, and strong communication skills in English, we want to hear from you.<br><br>
Key Qualifications:<ul><li>Infant and Toddler, ECE license to practice. Must have an Infant and Toddler certificate and license.</li><li>3 to 5 years full-time in IT Room team leader/management experience.</li><li>Valid First Aid Certificate.</li><li>Speaks English, Reads English, and Writes English (Mandarin or Cantonese are an asset).</li></ul>
<br>Roles and Responsibilities as an Infant and Toddler Room Leader:<ul><li>Foster a passion for learning in children.</li><li>Approach a child's early learning years with enthusiasm and dedication.</li><li>Ensure children enjoy their day, whether they are playing or learning.</li><li>Prepare children both academically and socially for school.</li><li>Encourage and support each child's growth.</li><li>Build strong bonds with children, providing a nurturing and stable environment.</li><li>Promote individuality and boost each child's self-esteem.</li><li>Support both parents and children in the learning process.</li><li>Encourage the development of meaningful friendships among children, parents, and staff.</li><li>Help parents actively participate in their child's education.</li><li>Lead children in activities focused on learning, play, skill development, teamwork, and more.</li><li>Observe children for signs of learning or behavioural challenges and prepare appropriate reports.</li><li>Proficient in spoken and written English.</li></ul>
