The ideal candidate will have a passion for corporate interior design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate client requirements into creative and practical design solutions.</p><p>This role offers the opportunity to work on and contribute to every stage of the design process, from concept to completion.</p><p>As a designer in Design & Build company, you will have the opportunity to work closely with project managers, estimators, site supervisors, and trades to execute your design intent.</p><strong>About the Deliverables</strong><ul><li>Own the design elements of a project from kick-off to completion, including concept creation, budgeting, material selection and furniture specification.</li><li>Create innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling design solutions that align with project goals and client needs.</li><li>Lead client presentations from programming, layout and concept to design development.</li><li>Develop and grown client relationships with key accounts.</li><li>Manage and Coordinate junior designers, Cad Techs & Consultants to develop and maintain working drawings for your projects including; RCP, Flooring, Fixtures, Furniture, Finishes, Partition, Power and Communications, Elevations and Millwork details, including reviews of Permit, Tender, and Construction Document sets.</li><li>Interface with our project managers, estimators and construction team during design, tender and construction.</li><li>Provide training and onboarding for new junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.</li></ul><strong>About You</strong><ul><li>5-8 years of experience in Interior Design.</li><li>A Bachelor’s of Interior Design or a related field from an accredited institution.</li><li>Experience with corporate office and workplace design preferred.</li><li>Experience in 3D rendering and visualization.</li><li>Ability to collaborate in project team settings but also work well independently.</li><li>Excellent time management skills.</li><li>Ability to navigate challenges and proactively problem-solve.</li><li>Able to engage in creative and critical thought to interpret sketches, drawings, program and other similar material.</li><li>Ability to communicate design ideas and intent (verbal, written, graphic).</li><li>Strong communication skills in English.</li><li>Understanding of client's expectations of deliverables at different phases of projects including construction documents.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, or similar design software.</li></ul><p>Our team thrives on collaboration and efficiency.
