Role Purpose:

We are seeking a versatile IT & Business Systems Specialist to join our IT department. This role is ideal for an IT specialist with strong technical and business application expertise. The successful candidate will manage user roles and permissions, administer ERP systems, and support our Microsoft technology stack, including Azure and MS Power BI while ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization.

Responsibilities:

The following is not intended to be all-inclusive or restrictive; other duties may be assigned as necessary.

BUSINESS SYSTEMS:

• ERP System Management:

• Administer and support ERP applications (configuration, troubleshooting, and user support).

• Collaborate with business units to optimize ERP workflows and reporting.
• MRP planning
• BOMs and routings

• Lot/batch tracking and expiry

• Document processes (SOP's) and maintain the IT knowledge base.

• Project & Process Improvement:

• Participate in IT projects, including system implementations and migrations.

• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.

IT SYSTEMS & SUPPORT:

• User & Role Administration:

• Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions across business systems and IT platforms.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and access control standards.

• IT Operations & Support:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.

• Microsoft Platform & Cloud Services:

• Maintain and support the Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).

• Manage Azure Active Directory, security groups, and cloud resources.
• Assist with Power BI dashboards and data integration for business intelligence.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• A high degree of proficiency with current versions of Microsoft Dynamics 365

Business Central or MS Dynamics Navision.

• Degree or diploma in computer technology.

• 5+ years of experience working hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business

Central /MS Dynamics NAV.

• Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing or food production environment in

the following areas:

• MRP planning
• BOMs and routings

• Lot/batch tracking and expiry

• Having Business Central / NAV implementation experience and a comprehensive

understanding of ERP applications are an asset.

• The ability to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable

efficient data gathering and analysis.

• Understanding and experience with the Microsoft suite of applications, including but

not limited to Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Power BI, and Power

Automate, is an asset.

• Detail-oriented, punctual, strong organizational and good communication skills.

• The ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously under minimal

supervision and shifting priorities, and maintaining confidentiality.

• Excellent project management & communication skills (verbal & written) required.

• Support team members in adapting to new technologies and processes through effective change management strategies.
