Strategic and highly visible consulting opportunity in the insurance industry for a senior digital analytics expert. Use Python, SQL, and Tableau to lead advanced audit analytics, data automation, and risk insights. <b>Responsibilities:</b><b><br></b>
<br>
<br>• Own and deliver analytical project planning and execution for audit and advisory engagements.<br>
<br>• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables with audit teams and perform data analytics procedures to evaluate controls and business objectives.<br>
<br>• Generate analytics insights, identify outliers or anomalies, and support automation in audit processes.<br>
<br>• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to access and interpret data structures and sources.<br>
<br>• Develop access plans, gather data, and document system and business process knowledge for future reuse.<br>
<br>• Lead initiatives in audit digitization, including continuous auditing, automated monitoring, and process automation.<br>
<br>• Apply programming, statistics, data visualization, ML Ops, and machine learning to identify control gaps and enhance assurance quality.<br>
<br>• Contribute to shaping audit strategy and policies, driving continuous improvement using technology.<br>
<br>• Design and deliver analytics training in SQL, Python, and Tableau for internal audit teams.<br>
<br>• Build relationships with audit stakeholders and internal/external analytics communities.<br>
<br>
<b>What you will need to succeed:<br></b>
<br>
<br>• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, AI, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics. <br>
<br>• 2+ years of experience in the financial or insurance industry.<br>
<br>• 2+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.<br>
<br>• 2+ years of experience developing and productionizing NLP or generative AI models; GitHub portfolio of relevant work is preferred.<br>
<br>• 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python, including libraries such as NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, and scikit-learn<br>
<br>• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.<br>
<br>• Demonstrated ability to create executive-level dashboards and storytelling visualizations.<br>
<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills.<br>
<br>• Ability to influence across all organizational levels and work through ambiguity.<br>
<br>• Deep knowledge of IT, data analytics, digital processes, and internal controls in a corporate environment.<br>
<br>• Practical experience with statistical analysis techniques such as regression, clustering, and decision trees.<br>
<br>• Familiarity with AWS SageMaker and machine learning pipelines.<br>
<br>• Knowledge of digital platforms, web, mobile, personalization, and AI technologies.<br>
<br>• Bonus: Experience with audit analytics tools such as Archer, Arbutus, Alteryx, or Dataiku.<br>
<br>
