Lead Hand - Warehouse - Night Shift

Position: Warehouse Full-Time Night Shift Shipper/Receiver Team Lead.


Benefits:

  • Wage is $24.00 per hour (44) for night shift.
  • Health Benefits after 6 months (company pays 80% and team members pays 20%).
  • 2 weeks paid vacation.
  • 6 paid sick days per year.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accurately select customer orders, pack onto skids for shipping.
  • Wrap skids.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
  • Perform all other tasks/duties as required.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices.
  • Record shortages and reject damaged goods.
  • Supervise daily warehouse overseeing receiving and distribution operation.
  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
  • Ensuring the safety of the staff.
  • Motivating and disciplining staff.
  • Interviewing candidates for hiring.
  • Coordinate transportation schedule deliveries with brokers.
  • Responsible for ensuring that warehouse equipment forklift machines are properly maintained and in good working condition. This includes regular maintenance.

FULL TIME night shift (Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday) TBD.

Skills:

  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 - 60 lbs.
  • Is a team player and result oriented.
  • Forklift experience and active license a must.
  • Experience in leading a small team.

Working Conditions:

  • Working in and out of Coolers and Freezers.
  • Good personal hygiene is expected and jewelry is not permitted.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work.
  • You are required to have certified safety boots and a valid forklift license.
