Job Description

Job Description

This is a strong entry point into a well-established, high-demand manufacturing operation supporting critical infrastructure across North America. If you enjoy working with machinery, precision measurements, and being part of a team that takes pride in quality and safety — this role offers real upside.

You’ll be working in a production-driven environment where consistency, teamwork, and attention to detail matter. This is not a short-term stop — it’s an opportunity to prove yourself and transition into a permanent role with long-term stability and growth.

Why This Opportunity Is Different
Unlike many production roles, this environment emphasizes:

  • A proactive, people-driven safety culture
  • Structured training and clear operating procedures
  • Collaboration between shifts rather than siloed work
  • Exposure to specialized manufacturing processes not found everywhere
  • A realistic path to full-time employment with added benefits
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Set up and operate production machines according to work orders
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and document results accurately
  • Perform basic troubleshooting to maintain process flow
  • Read and interpret measurements and specifications
  • Follow production priorities to meet output targets
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
  • Communicate effectively with incoming and outgoing shifts
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
  • Comfortable working with precision measurements
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong safety mindset
  • Reliable, punctual, and process-driven
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to follow instructions and standardized procedures
  • Team-oriented with respect for coworkers
Compensation & Work Model
  • $25/hour plus applicable shift premiums
  • Temporary to full-time opportunity
  • Continental rotating shifts (11–12 hour shifts, days and nights)
  • Onsite role in the Burlington, Ontario area
