Opportunity

EY Technology Consulting is a fast‑moving and high‑growth area within EY. We are currently looking for a Manager – SAP FICO/RTR to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. We are looking for an individual who combines experience leading SAP projects with an aptitude for driving sales pursuits and for helping grow our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, and thought leadership to differentiate EY in the ERP advisory market.


• Travel up to 20‑30% to meet client needs.


• Lead the team with diverse skills and backgrounds, fostering an innovative and inclusive environment.


• Participate in large‑scale SAP client engagements; deliver quality services on time and within budget.


• Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed.


• Manage client expectations; stay abreast of industry trends relevant to the client’s business.


• Provide daily interaction and interface with the client at many levels.

Required Skills & Attributes

• Skilled team leadership: adhere to project methodology and PMO processes, plan data team work, lead local & offshore resources, report status, log and escalates risks/issues, participate in program governance.


• Advanced knowledge and experience with SAP Finance.


• Effective team collaboration; foster inclusive environment.


• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, technical writing.


• Forward‑thinking, self‑starter; quick learner.


• Ability to lead consulting professionals on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 7–10 years of related work experience.


• Degree in computer science, accounting, finance or related field; MBA or business undergraduate preferred. SAP certification(s) highly preferred.


• 5–7 years of experience with SAP Finance modules (FI, CO, CO-PC, COPA – S/4HANA experience preferred), and participation in multiple full life‑cycle SAP implementations.


• Experience implementing SAP Finance and Controlling: AR, AP, FA, Cost Center Accounting.


• Experience integrating SAP Finance with SD, MM, PP, PM, etc. for product cost controlling and margin analysis.


• Experience facilitating business blueprint; gathering & documenting requirements; designing SAP‑enabled solutions.


• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing complex schedules against published plan.


• Team lead expertise: stream planning, status reporting, governance, risk management, budgeting.


• Development of project documentation: business process flows, training materials, requirements gathering, project management methodology.


• Experience with all aspects of cost controlling and management accounting within an ERP system.

Ideal Qualifications

• Prior consulting experience and a track record of driving revenue within existing clients and developing new prospects at the C‑level of Fortune 500 companies.

Salary range for British Columbia: $90,000 to $165,000, determined by education, experience, skills and location.
