Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities for tradeshows, conferences and other external events, including liaison with exhibition organizers, contractors, service providers and attendees
  • Assist with writing, editing and distributing event materials and promotion
  • Liaise with other divisions within Trimble to build coordinated events
  • Provide responsive marketing services to support business functions, including sales, business development, product management, engineering, and customer services.
  • Play a key part in developing social media marketing initiatives to support events.
  • Develop a close and effective working relationship with business, engineering, customer support and sales organization.

Recommended Skills & Experience:

  • Candidate currently pursing a university education in business, communications and/or marketing or equivalent qualification
  • An understanding of corporate events and conferences, and an interest in organizing and promoting them
  • An understanding of the effective use of social media in a B2B context
  • Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Proficient time management and the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the positioning/mapping/survey space would be a plus
  • Familiarity with leading online marketing tools and content management systems
  • An excellent ability to build and maintain relationships across business functions
