Material Handler/Clamp Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within the facility.


Duties:
  • Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize order pickers to retrieve products from high shelves and prepare them for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Assist in order picking and packing processes as needed, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.


Skills:
  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution and forklift operation, including clamp trucks and order pickers.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and order accuracy.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols in the workplace.


Shift Timings: Afternoon, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
