<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Mig and Tig Welder Fitter</p><p> Location: North York, ON<br /> Shift: Monday–Thursday (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM), Friday (2:00 PM – 9:00 PM)</p><p><br />About the Role</p><p>We’re searching for an experienced and reliable Welder Fitter to join our busy production team on the afternoon shift. In this role, you’ll be responsible for MIG and Tig welding, fitting custom metal components, working from technical drawings, and fabricating high-quality parts with precision.<br />If you excel in custom fabrication, take pride in your workmanship, and want a long-term, stable opportunity, this position is a great fit.</p><p><br />Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Perform high-quality MIG and Tig welding on various metals (primarily mild steel)</p></li><li><p>Fit, position, and assemble custom metal components using blueprints and shop drawings</p></li><li><p>Select proper materials and prepare workpieces for welding</p></li><li><p>Set up and adjust welding machines according to job requirements</p></li><li><p>Fabricate components from raw material through to final assembly</p></li><li><p>Inspect welds and finished parts to ensure they meet production and quality standards</p></li><li><p>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area</p></li><li><p>Work closely with the plant leadership team to meet daily production goals</p></li></ul><p>What You Bring</p><ul><li><p>7+ years of hands-on MIG and Tig welding and fitting experience</p></li><li><p>Strong experience in custom metal fabrication</p></li><li><p>Ability to weld materials from 18-gauge to 1/8” thick</p></li><li><p>Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and custom work orders</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of material selection and assembly processes</p></li><li><p>Experience in other welding processes (TIG, flux-core, stick) is an asset</p></li><li><p>Able to lift up to 50 lbs</p></li><li><p>Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality</p></li><li><p>Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment</p></li></ul><p>Safety & PPE Requirements</p><ul><li><p>CSA-approved safety shoes</p></li><li><p>Welding helmet and welding gloves</p></li><li><p>Adherence to all workplace health and safety procedures</p></li></ul><p>Why Join Us?</p><ul><li><p>Stable, long-term employment</p></li><li><p>Supportive, team-focused work environment</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to apply your fabrication skills on custom projects</p></li></ul><p>If you’re a skilled MIG and Tig welder who enjoys custom fabrication and takes pride in quality work, we want to hear from you!
