Job Title: Technology Architect
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Client: Public Sector
Duration: 12+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
Note:
We are seeking a highly experienced Technology Architect - Senior with deep hands-on expertise in MS Dynamics 365, Azure cloud architecture, microservices, API design, and enterprise-level system integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading architecture design from concept to implementation in large-scale, cross-platform, cloud-native environments. This role requires strong technical leadership, the ability to translate business needs into architecture models, and hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies.
Key Skills & Expertise (Technical Skills - 40%):
- Deep hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration, and Microsoft cloud ecosystem
- Experience with low-code and custom development on Dynamics 365
- Working knowledge of Dataverse design and development
- Expertise in designing enterprise-level cloud-native architectures
- Experience designing microservices, containerized systems, and Kubernetes-based architectures
- Strong experience with custom-code development projects
- Expertise designing cloud systems using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Working knowledge of integration with Azure cloud technologies
- Expert knowledge of API development, especially RESTful services
- Hands-on experience with Azure development, DevOps pipelines, task boards
- Working knowledge of multiple backend & frontend technologies: Java, .NET, JAM stack
- Expert knowledge of Cloud Security Principles (Azure AD B2C, Okta Authentication)
- Experience preparing solution architecture documentation based on industry standards
Experience (40%):
- Proven experience with Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Case Management, Customer Service, Sales modules
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Platform
- Experience working with Dynamics CRM Customer Service Workspace, Agent Experience Profile, Workstream, Routing
- Experience building custom APIs and web services
- Proficiency across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud models
- Azure certifications preferred
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Kanban/task boards
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with custom code backend systems
- Deep expertise in Cloud Security Principles (Azure AD B2C, Okta)
Communication Skills (20%):
- Strong communication skills to prepare solution documentation, reports, reviews, and assessments
- Ability to clearly present architecture/design concepts to business and technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership
- Strong customer-service orientation for both internal and external stakeholders
Must Have Skills:
- Deep hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365

Responsibilities:
- Develop, recommend, implement, and manage technical architectures across large distributed environments
- Lead architecture design from concept to implementation
- Prepare conceptual, logical, and physical architecture models and diagrams
- Guide teams using structured methodologies, ITIL processes, and best practices
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture solutions
- Design cloud-native systems, microservices, and containerized workloads
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and maintainability across platforms
- Lead and support MS Dynamics 365 and Azure cloud architecture initiatives
- Build, optimize, and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud services
- Leverage CASE tools, project management tools, and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure high-quality implementation
Desirable Skills:
- Experience creating enterprise architecture deliverables based on Ontario Government EA standards
- Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (OpenText)
- Understanding of Information Management principles, policies, and practices
