Obstetrician Gynecologist – Complex Gynecologic Surgeon


The Saskatchewan Health Authority – Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology are seeking two Obstetrician Gynecologist specialists with fellowship training in Urogynecology, advanced pelvic surgery, or minimally invasive surgery.


Responsibilities



  • Provide inpatient, outpatient and community clinical and academic care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Full‑time gynecology practice with optional prenatal care and obstetrical call.

  • Participate in complex gynecologic surgeries (e.g., large masses, placenta accreta spectrum).

  • Perform at least two surgical approaches: laparoscopic/hysteroscopic, vaginal, or open.

  • General gynecology on‑call duties; potential future complex gynecology call service.

  • Mentor junior colleagues and support advanced pelvic surgery assistance.

  • Actively teach residents and support research activities.


Qualifications



  • Board‑certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (RCPSC) with eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).

  • Fellowship training in Urogynecology, advanced pelvic surgery, or minimally invasive surgery.

  • Excellent clinical, surgical, teaching and teamwork skills.
