In 2020, Domus became a division of Alpine Building Maintenance which provides maintenance services all across Canada.<br /></p><p><b>Job Description :</b><br /></p><p><b>Job Overview:</b><br /></p><p>Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is looking for qualified Operations Road Supervisor for an immediate position located within the Ottawa area. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.<br /></p><p><b>YOU MUST HAVE SOME COMMERCIAL CLEANING EXPERIENCE.</b><br /></p><p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Ensure high-quality standards by conducting weekly or monthly on-site inspections and audits using a user-friendly quality control software application.<br /></li><li>Execute operational plans effectively by meeting client needs, exceeding expectations, and building a strong network of subcontractors to represent and build the Alpine Brand.<br /></li><li>Coordinate with subcontractors to guarantee compliance with requirements such as security clearances, GST, Business Licensing, WCB, Liability Insurance etc.<br /></li><li>Establish strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.<br /></li><li>Lead and mentor janitorial network of subcontract teams to achieve superior performance and foster collective growth.<br /></li><li>Leverage knowledge to ensure proper maintenance and scheduling of care of a wide variety of equipment, including: burnishers, auto scrubbers, and other standardized cleaning equipment.<br /></li><li>Empower teams with hands-on training, support, and mentorship. This includes spot cleaning as required and leading by example to demonstrate best practice and efficiency (Hands on!).<br /></li><li>Navigate challenges proactively, resolving issues before they escalate.<br /></li><li>Control budgets and ensure subcontractor hours are in line with subcontractor budgets provided by Alpine.<br /></li><li>Elevate workplace standards by maintaining equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and always exceeding expectation.<br /></li></ul><p><b>Required Skills/Abilities:</b><br /></p><p>· Ability to manage retail janitorial contracts with 3+ years of supervisory experience, ensuring success in budgets, client relations, and operations.<br /></p><p>· Leadership skill that inspires teams, foster collaboration, and drive operational excellence.<br /></p><p>· Proficiency in resolving challenges quickly and effectively, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
