Goal-oriented individuals interested in an exciting retail career that supports their development and have a great work ethic and habits combined with a positive attitude should apply.</p><p><strong>Position Overview:<br /></strong>We’re looking for dependable, upbeat students to help on weekends with shopping cart and basket retrieval, outdoor tidiness, and great front-door customer service. You’ll work mostly outside, keeping our entry areas safe, clear, and welcoming.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities & Tasks:</strong></p><ul><li>Retrieve, line up, and stage shopping carts and baskets from the parking lot and store entrances.</li><li>Keep <span >entrances/sidewalks</span> tidy; spot and report hazards (spills, debris, icy patches)</li><li>Organize inside the store: perform regular sweeps of aisles, cash lanes, Customer Service, and seasonal areas to collect scattered carts/baskets and return them to cart bays.</li><li>Offer friendly assistance to customers at the door (directions, cart handoff)</li><li>Offer courteous assistance at the door (directions, cart handoff).</li><li>Follow health & safety procedures and wear required PPE.</li><li>Increase sweep frequency during peak hours to prevent carts/baskets from spreading across the store.</li><li>Support simple outdoor tasks (e.g., moving cart corrals/signage as directed)</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Weekends (Saturday/Sunday) during the school year; extra shifts may be available on holidays/breaks.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working outdoors/indoors in all weather.</li><li>Physically able to push/pull cart trains and lift up to ~50 lbs as needed.</li><li>Safety-first mindset; able to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good communication and a positive attitude.</li><li>Legally eligible to work in Canada.</li></ul><p></p><p>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
