<p><b>Tecnicas Reunidas Canada E&C</b> is part of the <b>Tecnicas Reunidas Group</b>, a global leader in <b>engineering, procurement and construction services</b> for energy and large-scale industrial projects. We are seeking a <b>Planner</b> to join our <b>Calgary-based team</b>. This position will play a key role in upholding industry standards and ensuring effective planning activities throughout the project.</p><p><br></p><p><b> Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li> Develop and monitor the <b>Construction Execution schedule</b>.</li><li> Integrate <b>engineering, procurement, and construction management plans and schedules</b>.</li><li> Ensure <b>safety, quality, and efficiency</b> are considered in the planning process to guarantee results.</li><li> Identify specific <b>risks</b> associated with executing planned activities.</li><li> Link and analyze <b>schedules, tasks, and resources</b> to generate realistic results based on final work plans.</li><li> Generate <b>project schedule deliverables</b> and associated resource forecasts.</li><li> Provide hands-on <b>technical and construction expertise</b> for the control aspect of construction management.</li><li>Maintain on-going project schedules by interfacing with engineers and managers to obtain progress information.</li><li>Update and document <b>progress schedules weekly</b>, or as required, to ensure all deadlines are met.</li><li> Modify, adjust, and seek <b>continuous improvement</b> of work plans as necessary.</li><li>Facilitate regular meetings to proactively resolve <b>planning conflicts</b> across multiple disciplines.</li><li>Participate in <b>management-level presentations</b> where planning and scheduling is required.</li><li>Demonstrate strong <b>leadership skills</b> while working in the field.</li><li>Perform any relevant work-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b> Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li> <b>8+ years</b> of related experience in a similar position considered an asset.</li><li><b>University Degree or College Diploma</b> preferred.</li><li>Proven experience developing and maintaining <b>construction execution schedules</b> in complex, multi-discipline environments.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to analyze <b>schedules, resource allocations, and work plans</b> to produce data-driven forecasts.</li><li>Excellent <b>communication skills</b>.</li><li>Strong proficiency in <b>English</b>.</li><li> Candidates must be currently entitled to <b>work legally in Canada</b>.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b> Reasons to Join Us</b></p><ul><li>Be part of a <b>global organization</b> delivering cutting-edge energy and industrial solutions.</li><li>Work on <b>impactful projects</b> that shape the future of energy in Canada.</li><li>Collaborative and supportive <b>work environment</b> with room for professional growth.</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
