Overview

Our company is looking for an Auto Body Prepper to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Refinish Technician in other areas as necessary;
  • Prep vehicles properly for paint (tape, mask, etc);
  • Rub and polish completed vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Automotive interest and desire to develop a career in the industry;
  • 1-3+ years of related employment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
  • Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during the prep process.
  • Collaborate with other coworkers.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
  • Complete projects within established timelines while adhering to quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with hand tools used in the prepping process.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, communication skills, and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
