Job Summary
The Production Manager will oversee the day-to-day production operations of ODRA Road Sweepers, ensuring manufacturing, logistics, service, and supply chain functions run efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong leader who can streamline processes, manage teams, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining the high standards of quality and performance the ODRA brand is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all production aspects of the business including scheduling, inventory, logistics, and quality control.
- Lead and mentor production, warehouse, and service teams to meet performance, quality, and safety targets.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and customer service teams to align production with customer expectations and delivery timelines.
- Develop and implement efficient production systems, processes, and best practices.
- Monitor supply chain and procurement functions to ensure materials and parts availability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce regular production reports for senior management.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
- Support new product introductions and modifications from a production perspective.
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers and vendors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of production or manufacturing management experience, preferably in heavy equipment or vehicle manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, and quality systems (e.g., ISO).
- Knowledge of inventory systems for warehouse operations.
- Experience with Engineering Changes.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
