Our client is a growing General Contractor based in Montreal, specializing in small to mid-size commercial construction projects, including offices, retail spaces, and light industrial facilities. They value quality, collaboration, and long-term partnerships with clients and subcontractors.


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support the Project Management team throughout all phases of construction. The successful candidate will assist with scheduling, documentation, procurement, and coordination between office and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers in the planning, organization, and administration of projects.

  • Prepare, review, and track project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

  • Coordinate communication between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  • Support procurement by issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.

  • Maintain project schedules and update progress reports.

  • Assist in preparing meeting minutes, cost tracking reports, and project close-out documentation.

  • Ensure all project files and logs are organized and up to date.


Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • 1–5 years of experience in a similar role within a General Contracting environment.

  • Good understanding of construction processes and documentation.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Procore or similar project management software is an asset.

  • Bilingual (English and French)
