Project Manager, Security

Job Description

<p><p>This permanent Project Manager role is a hybrid position with a salary band of $115k-$125k.</p>
<h3>Mandate</h3>
<ul>
<li>Plan, oversee, and manage information security projects to ensure timely, budget‑aligned, and goal‑oriented delivery.</li>
<li>Coordinate internal and external teams, defining resources and ensuring stakeholder engagement across all phases.</li>
<li>Monitor project progress, risks, and issues while upholding information security control requirements and reporting regularly.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Key Accountabilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Project Leadership: Develop detailed project plans, lead multiple information security initiatives from initiation to post‑implementation, and ensure compliance with InfoSec standards.</li>
<li>Stakeholder & Partner Management: Maintain transparent communication with executives and delivery partners, coordinate cross‑functional resources, and manage dependencies and risks.</li>
<li>Financial & Compliance Oversight: Develop and maintain project budgets, oversee change management and transition processes, and uphold the organization’s cybersecurity posture (ISO27001, NIST).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; PMP/PMI certification preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in information security, with proficiency in tools like MS Project or JIRA.</li>
<li>Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with proven success managing remote and cross‑functional teams.</li>
