Our firm is growing and offers a collegial work environment that values the work of all team members.<br />We are seeking an experienced highly motivated and organized real estate law clerk/legal assistant to join our growing team.<br /> Skills and Qualifications Required: <br /> Minimum 4 year of experience working as a law clerk in the areas of Residential/Commercial Real Estate Law. Candidates with experience in Wills and Estates and Business law will be preferred.<br /> Handle 35-45 files per month involving real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, and refinances.<br /> Independently manage real estate transaction from opening to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every stage with minimal supervision.<br /> Must be highly organized, have a keen attention for detail and ability to work under pressure to meet stringent timelines.<br /> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must in order to develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.<br /> Proficiency with conveyancing and legal software, particularly LDD, Teraview, ONLand, Assyst, LLC etc.<br /> Responsibilities: <br /> File Management, Due Diligence and Communications regarding all residential and commercial real estate transactions.<br /> Facilitating purchase, sale, lease, refinance, and private mortgage transactions of residential and commercial properties.<br /> Facilitating Asset Purchase and Share Purchase Transactions.<br />Job Type: Full-time<br />Benefits:<br /> On-site parking<br />Schedule:<br /> Monday to Friday<br /> Weekends as needed<br />Education:<br /> Bachelor's Degree (preferred)<br />Experience:<br /> legal assistant: 2 years (preferred)<br />Work Location: In personCreate Your Resume First
