We’re united by a shared commitment to excellent and equitable health care.</em></p><h3><b>Position Overview</b></h3><h3><b>Experience</b></h3><ul><li>Recent NICU experience preferred or Acute Care experience required (up to 2 years of experience may be preferred/required).</li></ul><h3><b>Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)</b></h3><ul><li>Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.</li></ul><h3><b>Certification/Licensure/Registration</b></h3><ul><li>Current CRNM registration required.</li><li>Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.</li></ul><p>SUCCESSFUL SCHEDULE and COMPLETION and on-going renewal of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program at a time scheduled by the employer or at a time mutually agreed upon between the nurse and the employer required.</p><h3><b>Qualifications and Skills</b></h3><ul><li>Bilingualism required (ability to understand and speak English/French).<b> **</b></li><li>Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).</li></ul><p><b>**</b>The candidate must be able to understand and speak French at a proficiency level that allows them to sustain varied in-depth conversations with patients and families. Language proficiency will be evaluated in order to assess the applicant’s proficiency level.
